This compilation celebrates one of the world's most misunderstood foods. Created in response to the publication of a book on tofu (Tofu: A Culinary History), the compilation brings together artists from around the world to explore tofu through folklore, history, science and sound, revealing bean curd as anything but bland. 

Featuring music by aus (Flau Records), Yetsuby, Louie Zong, cellist Rebecca Burden, VGM-maestro bo en, and more, the album ranges from ambient and dungeon synth to field recordings and VGM-inspired electronics. Like tofu itself, every track transforms the familiar into something unexpected.
